Detached Youth Worker (Fixed Term)

Manchester Young Lives is looking for an individual who will be able to engage with young people aged 11 -19 within the community to promote appropriate behaviour and encourage positive activities accessible for the age range. The role will include promotion of social action projects, with a particular aim to reduce Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) through educating and engaging young people. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a rapport with young people whom are currently, or at risk of being, vulnerable as well as the promotion of local services, organisations and charities which can be accessed by young people.

The post requires the successful candidate to work 28 hours per week, with a focus on evening and weekend sessions.

This role is fixed term until the 31st March 2020.
